Starred in cult film 'Beyond the Valley of the Dolls' Michael Blodgett, who starred in the 1970 film “Beyond the Valley of the Dolls” and wrote novels and screenplays, died Nov. 14 in Los Angeles of an apparent heart attack. He was 68. Blogett got his start as the mod host of Los Angeles pop music TV show “Groovy” and then hosted talkshow “The Michael Blodgett Show” where he interviewed actors, musicans and comedians.
