A cordon was set up outside Littlehampton police station in West Sussex after the man walked in at 7.45pm yesterday and said he had what he believed was a second World Warmortar round in his van which was parked outside.
He told officers he had found it sticking out of the ground in Whiteway Woods near Arundel earlier in the afternoon.
After viewing the device police evacuated the station, along with an adjacent ambulance station and probation offices, while a 100-metre cordon was set up.

20th Century Studios has released the first trailer for “The Boogeyman,” a new horror film that will make audiences confront “the thing that comes for your children when you’re not paying attention.”
